Isn't it baffling that Uber still doesn't allow users to tip drivers via their app? Same with Uber Eats, you can't tip your delivery person through the app -- you have to give them cash if you want to tip them. The problem, of course, is that fewer people carry cash these days, and when we do it's in much smaller quantities than in the past. Meanwhile, Uber competitors like Lyft and Postmates actually do let you tip drivers and delivery people via their apps. Does Uber not realize that this is driving some customers to their competitors? Or do they just not care? Seems like they should!
