Norm Macdonald might be the best political analyst out there

Kathy Griffin seems like she'd be a hard person to be friends with. Like, you couldn't say anything around her and not have to worry about it being spilled on a late night talk show. Plus she just talks so damn much, you could barely get a word in. But hey, on the bright side, you might get to be friends with Anderson Cooper by proxy, and that'd be cool!

Anyway, below are some things we made for you that we didn't want you to miss. Oh, and here's a song of the day for you: "Water Slides" by Mew

-- We considered if 2017 might be the year that Tool stages a comeback.

-- We had Anders Holm of Workaholics answer our 20 questions questionnaire.

-- We listed the most anticipated new albums of 2017.

-- We told you about the films we're most looking forward to seeing at Sundance.

-- We wondered if Matthew McConaughey's Lincoln commercials aren't really about a man who's losing his mind.

-- We introduced you to a street artist who's changing urban landscapes with his murals.

-- We used Madden '17 to simulate what will happen in the NFL playoffs this weekend.

-- We discussed how abandoning social media might be best for mental health

-- We got some sex-having advice from a sex therapist.

-- We power-ranked the NBA's best teams.

-- We had a couple of New Orleans Pelicans give us their New Orleans recommendations.

And here are some things you might want/need to know about.

-- Donald Trump tweeted a hilarious photo of himself "writing" his inaugural address and the internet roasted him for it.

-- Norm Macdonald offered his analysis of the 2016 election.

-- Obama defended his commutation of Chelsea Manning's sentence.

-- Kathy Griffin says that "man-whore" Josh Groban is "the John Mayer of opera."

-- George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush are both in the hospital now.

-- John Oliver + Larry David = Awesome.

-- Jimmy Kimmel took to the street to illuminate how most people don't know that "Obamacare" and the Affordable Care Act are one and the same.

-- Martin Shkreli thinks Trump will "make pharma great again."

-- Will & Grace is coming back to NBC.

-- Lewis Black is still yelling all over the place.
